Second Stage
Balanced second stages include a balancing chamber (red section in the diagram) that prevents the spring from working against the supply gas pressure. This allows for the use of a softer spring, making valve activation easier and reducing work of breathing (WOB). All AKUANA second stages use a balanced design, making them suitable for all environments
